With more than 25 years of professional experience in higher education advancement, David Moore has worked at Chapman University since 2004. Originally
serving as the director of alumni and parent relations, he transitioned to the Office of Legacy Planning in 2008. Prior to his promotion, he completed a
series of specialized classes on planned giving techniques and the corresponding examinations in an intensive program offered through the American Institute
for Philanthropic Studies. Additionally, David earned a master's degree in organizational leadership and a graduate certificate in organizational
development through Chapman University in 2009.
Enhanced by his in-depth knowledge of the university, David serves as a philanthropic advisor for the Chapman Family. He helps them to plan thoughtfully in
creating a meaningful legacy and investing in the future. He often suggests estate planning tools that can be tax advantaged and offer additional benefits
such as lifetime income or wealth transfer. He also oversees the Charles C. Chapman Legacy Society, which recognizes and honors those who have made plans
for the future of the University though their estate.
In addition to Legacy Planning, David serves as the development liaison for Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. In this capacity, he supports Dean Stephen Galloway's fund raising priorities including capital projects, endowment growth, scholarships and hands-on learning opportunities for students.
David especially enjoys sharing the Chapman University campus with others, so let him know if you would like a campus tour.

Lindsey Jacobs joined the Legacy Planning team in April 2014. A double alumna from Chapman, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in theatre in 2009 and completed her master's in leadership development in 2018. Because Lindsey loved her experience as a student at Chapman, she was inspired to return and help further Chapman's mission. In her current role as assistant director she serves as a philanthropic advisor for Chapman Family members looking to plan thoughtfully and create their Chapman legacy. Wanting to better serve the Chapman Family in her role, Lindsey became a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving in 2020.
Alongside David, Lindsey works closely with the Charles C. Chapman Legacy Society, which honors and recognizes visionary Chapman Family members who have included Chapman in their estate plans. Additionally, Lindsey acts as a bridge between local professionals and Chapman University through her involvement with the Chapman University Endowment Council. She loves meeting and deepening connections with fellow Chapman supporters and would love to hear your Chapman Story.
